Biography

Dr. Jennifer Ho is an Assistant Professor in the Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour department of the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. She received her Ph.D. in Human Resources and Management from the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Her research focuses on the attitudes, behaviours, and experiences of workers with disabilities, women in the workplace, East Asian workers, and leaders who (mis)align their words and actions. Specifically, her research examines the workplace barriers that these groups encounter, as well as the HR processes that can enhance their employment outcomes. Additionally, she investigates leaders' alignment between their words and actions, and how leaders communicate with their workers. Jennifer has partnered with non-profit, municipal, and federal organizations to conduct her research, and has presented to academic groups and translated her research findings into practical insights for industry partners. She supervises both undergraduate and graduate research assistants. Her work has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
